We reflected over New Year on the great strides the Club had made over 2019 in improving the course experience at Westport. To start 2020 and see this hard work from all involved being validated by Ireland’s leading golf magazine, is fantastic news. In its January edition, Irish Golfer rated Westport Golf Club as 'One of the Best Value for Money Parkland Courses in Ireland', moving the course up to 66 in the Top 100 ranked courses in Ireland. The GUI also awarded the Club 'The Best Tournament Venue in Connacht', whilst hearty congratulations to our All Ireland Junior Cup Champions 2019, to whom Irish Golfer bestowed ' Team Of The Year 2019'.
